I'M IN For Giving My Bras A Second Life 🩷

If you have ever cleaned out your lingerie drawer, you will know it is rarely just about making space.

Tucked away at the back are bras you once wore all the time. Bras that got you through long work days, special occasions, life changes, and everyday moments. Some no longer fit the way they used to. Some have simply been replaced by new favourites. And some have quietly sat in your drawers for years, waiting for you to decide what to do with them.

If you are anything like us, you probably have a few of those pieces right now... 🤭

That is why we are bringing back our annual I'M IN Bra Collection Drive!

From 23 May to 30 June 2026, we are inviting our community (you!) to give your preloved bras a second life — one that keeps them in circulation for longer and out of the waste stream whenever possible.

This year, we are partnering with Cloop to help recirculate, repurpose, and recycle collected bras. ♻️

Why Are We Doing This?

At I'M IN, we have always believed that lingerie should feel good, fit well, and stay in rotation for as long as possible.

But we also know that bras are not meant to last forever — bodies changes, preferences change, life changes.

And while there is nothing wrong with letting go of pieces that no longer serve you, we wanted to create a more thoughtful way for our community to do so.

Not because we think everyone should buy less, or because we believe sustainability needs to be perfect, but because we believe small, intentional choices can make a meaningful difference over time.

Who Is Cloop?

Cloop is a Singapore-based circular fashion social enterprise working to reduce textile waste and keep clothing in circulation for longer.

Together with their recycling partner, collected textiles are carefully sorted and directed towards their next best use — whether that is recirculation, repurposing, repair, upcycling, or responsible recycling.

One thing we especially admire about Cloop's process with their recycling partner is that nothing goes to the landfills! ✨

We recently had the opportunity to visit their sorting facility and see the process firsthand. Watching boxes of donated textiles being carefully sorted, assessed, and handled by real people gave us a whole new appreciation for what happens after a donation is made.

What Happens to The Bras After You Donate Them?

After collection, donated bras will be sorted based on their condition.

Depending on their condition, they may be:

1️⃣ Recirculated for continued wear
2️⃣ Repurposed into other textile uses
3️⃣ Responsibly recycled through the textile recovery process

Your donations do not simply get discarded after they leave our stores — every item is carefully assessed and directed towards its next best use, helping to extend the lifecycle of materials wherever possible.

What Can You Donate?

We are accepting bras and bralettes from any brand, including sports bras and nursing bras, as long as they are:

✅ Clean and dry
✅ Gently worn
✅ Fully reusable

To ensure collected items can be responsibly processed, we are currently not accepting:

❌ Bra tops
❌ Bodysuits
❌ Heavily damaged and stained bras
❌ Mouldy or wet items

Please approach our retail team before dropping your bras into the collection box, so they can help assess the items first.

The I'M IN Bra Collection Drive will run from 23 May to 30 June 2026 at all I'M IN retail stores in Singapore:

The discount is valid in stores only (must be used on the spot), and applies storewide — not just to bras and bralettes!

Please note that the discount is not stackable with other ongoing promotions.

And no, there is no minimum number of bras required to qualify. Whether you are donating one bra or ten, every contribution counts. 🩷

This initiative is not about perfection, having the most sustainable wardrobe, making all the right choices, or clearing out everything you own. It is simply about doing what we can, where we can.
